TROOP 10 & TROOP 410

Welcome to the home of Scout's BSA Troops 10 & 410 on the web!  Troop 10 is one of the 50 oldest boys only troops in the nation, having been active for over 100 continuous years.  Troop 410 is a recently (Feb. 1, 2019) established girl's only Scouts BSA troop.  Both troops are located in the small village of Honeoye Falls, a short drive south of Rochester, New York.  For more than a century, our scouts have been helping the community through public service with activities including: helping at food pantries, establishing nature trails, cleaning up the local parks, posting US flags at veterans’ gravestones, and raking leaves at local churches. Troops 10 & 410 are both chartered by the Rotary Club of Honeoye Falls-Mendon.  We are fortunate to be able to maintain our own Scout house in the village of Honeoye Falls where we conduct most of our meetings.  We help provide an opportunity for fun and exciting experiences in the outdoors, while being personally challenged and building new friendships. Our program works toward three aims: - To build character - To foster citizenship - To develop physical, mental, and emotional fitness.  Our local program has a large focus on emphasizing the independance and skills needed to succeed in outdoor activities.

We hope to continue to help our community for the next 100 years, and we hope that those of you reading this will continue to support us.

Joining Requirements:   Scouts BSA is available to boys and girls who are 10-years old and have either earned the Arrow of Light Award or have completed the fifth grade; or who are 11 through 17 years of age.  For younger youth, please contact the Honeoye Falls Cub Scout Pack 10.
